~ How is everyone doing? ~

We're on the countdown now aren't we? I haven't accomplished all the things I wanted to do nor I have completed all of my craft ideas. I keep thinking that "yes, it will all get done" and that the most important thing to remember is this is a season of remembering Christ's birth and being with family and friends.  Keep that in mind,
 ok? :-)

Be careful with your online shopping too. I discovered an unauthorized withdrawal from my checking account yesterday while reviewing my bank statement on line. It was almost $80 and scared me to death!  I spent most of the afternoon dealing with the Credit Union, the police dept...spent an hour there between waiting and discussing the situation with an officer.  My debit card was immediately cancelled and, after leaving the police dept, I thought..."How am I going to function?"  It will be 7-10 days before the new one is received...and here we are in the midst of the holidays.  :-(  My Credit Union is cashless so they referred me to another that could issue cash so off I went to find that office, stand in line once again, etc., etc.  I was able to obtain cash there so I feel better about that.  You know, it seems to cash checks at grocery stores or other places now, you have to have cashed 7 checks in 7 days or some cock-eyed rule.  :-)  I use my debit card all the time.  Anyway, just keep an eye on your finances, ok?  I have been so busy I hadn't checked my account in a few days and look what happened!

I hope that you're taking good care of yourselves and taking a few moments now and again to relish the season!

xoxo ~ Pat

I am so sorry to hear about this, Pat! Our daughter had that happen, to the tune of $300!! Her CU contacted her because that amount was highly unusual for her account. Someone, 1,000 miles from us, ordered extremely expensive running shoes! At least they were more $$ than anyone in our family would ever pay!

Hope the rest of your Christmas is good. We don't buy for the adult kids, but we do give to the little ones. We adults and the little ones too, play a game. We each buy 10 inexpensive gifts and throw them in a big pile, then the game begins. I think they all like that better than presents under the tree.

Sorry about what happened to your debit card. Crazy people out there! It happens a lot and it just happened to my daughter too, just recently. Hope you and your family have a Blessed Christmas!...Christine

Pat, that is awful...what a bad feeling! I hope they catch the culprit! Debit cards scare me, though I do use mine. Maybe I should rethink how much I do use it. Hope the rest of your holiday season goes much smoother! Merry Christmas!

I'm sorry that happened and hope it gets straightened out, and soon.
I'm way behind on Christmas but might catch up by the 26th.
