~ Raindrops Are Fallin' On My Head ~

Well, that's what I thought this morning when I went to the kitchen to turn the coffee on. There was water on the floor, I'm half awake and water on my head??  It was raining outside but in my kitchen??  Well, the maintenance guys came over, could not determine where or why. One of them went upstairs to check that apt for an overflow or leaks from their kitchen....nada.  They started tearing apart the ceiling in my kitchen ~ joy, joy!   :-(   I had cleaned well last night but turned out to have water, paint chips, plaster board, insulation, you name it....all over the kitchen!  They finally found the pipe that was leaking...went back upstairs and had to tear out an area in that kitchen to repair the pipe. Repair person that will fix my ceiling and paint it cannot come until Wed morning. I told the mntc guys that was ok, however, the area in my ceiling HAD to be covered.  They agreed and patched it all up.  Now, we shall see if anything further develops.
Cross everything that it doesn't!!

Just another manic Monday ~  ;-)

What a lovely way to start the day! Well, at least they found the problem. We too, have some leaks that drive us crazy, and last week my daughters's bedrooom flooded. The sliding glass door was leaking and water went 1/2 across her floor. Under the carpet. Which makes for squishy carpet!
But think of this, we are warm and dry in every place that is not leaking. That's a good thing!
Hope your week gets better.
Stop by again!

Hi Pat,
It's the little things like leaky pipes that keep us on our toes! Thanks for stopping by my blog, and entering my PB giveaway. Good Luck! Also I just met Simply Debbie, but she is a doll.
