~ Wednesday Gratitude ~

It's time once again to link up with Heidi at Heart and Home and count our blessings! I think each day how grateful I am to wake up and have another chance at getting it right. ;-) Seriously, we really need to grab the gusto, so to speak, and live each day fully and gratefully. I've really been working on this! When I look at more boxes, I think "how fortunate I am to have these things", "how lucky I am to live alone, have my privacy, be in a safe environment with good people around me" ~ you get the picture! I am trying to focus on all the good stuff rather than spending time being frustrated, depressed and overwhelmed. I've stopped the clock as far as "having" to get things done ~ they WILL get done. I had a wonderful weekend and have allowed myself precious time to do as I please. I'm still working on things but not every minute, not every day, not pushing at all. I'm enjoying the gorgeous weather we're having ~ minus the wind some days. When the Texas heat hits, I will be inside more and I can organize till I can't then! :-) I think this picture conveys what I'm working on ~

I am feeling that way too lately...I do so much better when I move ahead and stay busy and not sit around feeling sorry for myself! It's windy here too, expecting snow the next two days!!! :D

Hi Pat,
You are always so insightful- I like that! I've been struggling with a silly blogger problem, feeling all frustrated and angry about it and the time I had wasted. Your post was a reminder for me to focus on the good parts of the day and let the rest go. Thank you!! (and I got the problem figured out, I perservered and tried several things and - tada - success! I think.)
Have a wonderful Wednesday, thanks for being a loyal "Gratitude girl!"

Hi Pat, I enjoyed your visit yesterday. Oh yes, I had forgotten about the Lavender & Vanilla B&B products. They are WONDERFUL! Smells really do add much to our world, don't they?

I love your post today. Very insightful. You made some great points we can all take home with us!

Enjoy THIS day! :)

It is a good way to live. I tend to be a "what if" person...which isn't so good most of the time. Lately, I find myself really thinking about how lucky I am and appreciating all I have...trying really hard not to dwell on what I don't (and won't) have anymore. It really makes me feel better to concentrate on the doesn't always work for me, but I'm trying:)

Hi Pat!

I understand! I really do. We have such good lives and so many things we can do...that is the outcome of such good lives in a free land!

Yet, I make these giant "to do" lists and get caught in the "trees" not seeing the forest.

Lets breath deeply of this beautiful spring!

So happy to know YOU!

love, kelee
