~ Just Checking In ~

Just thought I'd check in and say "hello".  I have missed ALL of you so much!  I have sneaked in a few blog reads and made a few comments but not near enough.  :-)

I thought the ceiling in the closet was all repaired last week.  Alas, there's another reason for the leak...it's back...and they have not determined the "why".  They have to cut it all out, find the problem and then more repairs, painting, you name it.  I do NOT like this, let me tell you.  It's a hassle to have to take everything out again.  Oh well, things could be worse, right?  I might be like the tornado victims and not even have a place to live.

Had problems with my car...was stranded one afternoon near a mall as it would not start. A kind gentleman jumped it for me and it ran fine over the weekend. Then late one afternoon I went out ~ nada, nothing, not even a click.  I knew the battery was ok as it was just a few weeks old and everything else worked...lights, radio, etc.  Had to have it towed to the mechanic and guess what?  It was the starter!  They did replace the power steering pump and all that goes with it as it had not stopped the noise since the original repair.  Let's see...since Jan 1st, I've had the power steering pump, etc., the battery and the starter replaced.  It's not a fun way to spend money....in my humble opinion.  I could be buying cutesy warm weather things, stuff that I prolly don't really need and perhaps a trip to the beach.   I did share some $$$ with the dentist too. Oh well ~

I have done some spray painting, planting and a few other odds & ends amidst the other stuff. Will share that soon!  I may not be here often for the next week but just know I miss you!

I'm sorry to hear you're having all these mishaps. There is nothing worse than spending money on those kinds of things. Hang in there and hopefully, it'll all turn around soon.

Well, I wondered where the heck you were but figured you were just busy...I can see I was right. I am sorry that you have had house AND car AND dental problems! What ELSE can go wrong? At least you're not pregnant!!!! xo Diana

Maybe having all those issues happen
at the same time will free up your summer and you can enjoy it!
Sorry for all the 'things' going on and I can relate to the $$ spent at the dentist.. I hate going there because with those $$ I could add an addition to my house....
Take care of yourself and ride it out!

Oh you poor dear! I hate when multiple weird things happen at the same time!! I've had major plumbing problems, too, and had to have the whole house re-plumbed! Big $$$$! Hang in there, cher! This too shall pass! Cheers!

Honey after all that you have been through lately I am surprised you can even have time to check in with us. lol
So very sorry about all the problems with the leak in your closet and your car. Nothing more frustrating that car problems.
I feel as you do about blogging. I miss everyone terribly and think of all my blogging buddies often but I am having trouble trying to keep up. I barely am doing post.
Thanks for finding the time to visit me and I am sending prayers your way for them to find that problem because I hate you have to keep taking everything out of your closet.
Hope your weather is as pretty as ours today
Love
Maggie
