~ Happy New Year & Happiness Jar ~

I cannot begin to tell you how much I want 2014 to begin!  I believe that this year, 2013, has been the worst that I can remember.  So much loss....so many negative things.  I am looking forward to a new beginning!

Do you make resolutions?  I don't ~ too much pressure. I like to set intentions for what I'd like to bring into my life...peace, fun, new friends, new experiences and volunteer opportunities. I want to focus on the good things!

I'm going to do the "Happiness Jar" to record happy moments, good things from each day, etc.  Wanna join me?

Wishing you and your loved ones a very Happy New Year and I hope that you are showered with blessings throughout the year!

I agree with your opinion, of being happy to bid farewell to 2013.

Don't know if it's the old superstition about "13".... Or what.... But I've not been happy with this year.

2014 looks so much nicer! :-)

Let's hope it is nicer, for all of us.

Happy New Year to you!

It's been a tough 3-4 years for me having to take care of parents and losing them both within 6 months of each other. This year was recovery but involved dealing with my grief of past pain, seeing a therapist weekly (literally every week!) and a psychiatrist monthly. (Read through my year and you'll see why I'm looking forward to a new beginning. Yes, I am believing for a better year! Hope yours is too!

I am looking forward to this new year also.
I do not make resolutions and haven't for years..I say "new beginnings", as I can't take the pressure of living up to the resolutions either.
Praying that you and your family have a year of healing and new bits of happiness sprinkled all around.
Love the Happiness Jar idea and just may join in. xo

Yes, adios to 2013, but we still have to go through so many "firsts", my friend. The happiness jar sounds like a wonderful start for a better 2014. Thanks for the inspiration and Happy New Year blessings to you. xo

Hello Pat...Saw your blog on Diann's post, The Thrifty Groove. My heart is so sad for the loss of your beautiful granddaughter. Oh gosh. That was such a tragic thing to happen.

I pray the new year will be a beautiful one for you and all your family. Susan
